The Best and Brightest Award is devised to recognize the most influential, trend-setting companies across the country and regionally in focused programs.

Winning organizations display a commitment to excellence in their human resource practices and employee enrichment.  The strength of these practices are vetted and confirmed by independent assessors.

Organizations are assessed based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more.

Set in a strong field among its peers, PennComp deservedly came up tops. It was recognized for its ability to push standards forward, foster constructive environments, and display a commitment to its team members and community.

Entry Process

The process started as a nomination for the award. Nominations can be made by team members, peers, or even customers.

Surveys were then distributed to the company Human Resource teams, who gave important information to a third-party research firm to carry out anonymous internal surveys.

The third-party process was rigorous and independent, and it led to honest and unbiased responses from staff at all participating nominees.

How was it evaluated?

The Best and Brightest Awards Committee recognizes that great organizations create cultures where team members are inspired and have the opportunity to contribute their talents towards the overall vision of the organization. During the selection process, the Best and Brightest team worked with PennComp to identify its strengths and opportunities through in-depth evaluations.

PennComp’s practices were bench-marked against other participants in their region and across the nation. This multifaceted approach created a rich assessment that generated detailed and revealing analysis reports, and competitive comparison and educational opportunities leading towards real and direct ROI.

Each application was scrutinized, scored and feedback was shared with both winning companies and those that did not make the winners list. Company data was analyzed as well as each employee survey by participating companies. The well-trusted third-party partner ensured the transparency and independence of the process.

Winners announced and recognized

PennComp’s excellent performance across a range of metrics was duly noted and this culminated in the receipt of this prestigious award.

PennComp and all its hard-working and talented team members who have contributed to this award are invited to join in celebration as winners are recognized for their esteemed accomplishments.
